                                                                                    SAT Review Classes 

Introduction

The SAT review classes are designed  to help students who plan to take SAT tests in the near future.  The classes  include familiarizing the students with testing format; learning test-taking techniques; reviewing the subject concepts of the tests and taking practice tests.  Currently, we offer the following SAT review classes: 

  - SAT I Mathematics
  - SAT I Critical Reading (Verbal)
  - SAT I Writing
  - SAT II Mathematics (IC & IIC)
  - SAT II Chinese*

Please check http://www.collegeboard.com for detailed information on test content, format and other related information.  We recommend SAT I review classes for students in grades 9-12, and SAT II Math for grades 10-12.  The SAT II Chinese reviews are conducted in Mandarin Chinese.  However, parents and students can always talk to the teachers to find out if a SAT review class is appropriate for a student.

Schedule

Each subject review class takes 1.5 hours, and it starts on 11:00am on school Saturdays.  Usually, two subject review classes (one set) are held on one Saturday.  The two sets of subject review alternate each week.  For example, if  SAT I Math and SAT II Math are held on week I, SAT I Verbal and Writing will be offered on week II.  Please check each year's detailed school calendar on the School Calendar page for class schedule.  

* SAT II Chinese: The Chinese review class (conducted in Mandarin Chinese) is only offered in the fall semester, if at all (based on interest). The class takes place from the start of the school to the last Saturday before the test, usually the first Saturday of November.  The class meets after a set of above mentioned SAT review classes.  Please check each year's detailed school calendar on the School Calendar page for a class schedule.
